Retail and Operations Manager 

Full-Time 

Blu Home | Sarasota, FL

Blu Home is a locally owned lifestyle boutique in Sarasota specializing in elevated home décor, gifts, furniture, and women’s fashion. We believe shopping should feel inspiring, personal, and welcoming. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and customer-focused leader to help manage our beautiful store and deliver an exceptional experience for every guest.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily store operations
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create lasting client relationships
• Assist customers with home décor, furniture, gifts, and fashion selections
• Merchandise the sales floor with an eye for beautiful displays and visual storytelling
• Receive, price, and merchandise new inventory
• Oversee inventory accuracy and restocking
• Process sales through Shopify POS
• Coordinate online orders, shipping, and local deliveries
• Help create social media content, promotions, and marketing initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, luxury shopping environment
• Assist with buying, special events, and seasonal merchandising
• Open and close the store independently

• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about interior design, home décor, fashion, or retail
• A problem solver who takes initiative
• Professional with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management or leadership experience
• Experience with Shopify POS (preferred but not required)
• Strong visual merchandising experience
• Social media knowledge (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok)
• Ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 40 lbs.)
