Artist Bio

Meredith J. Rushing is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges fine art, design, and architectural form. Following a distinguished 40+ year career as founder and creative director of Rushing & Associates Design, Inc., where she led projects for clients including AAA National Headquarters, Tupperware Brands Corporation, Disney Event Group, Scholastic Book Fairs, and numerous academic institutions, she now focuses on a studio practice centered on large-scale abstract mixed media works and intricately constructed paper sculptures. Drawing on a foundation in visual communication and a deep appreciation for modernist architecture, her work explores the interplay between structure and organic form, often presented in layered, dimensional compositions. Rushing’s work is held in private collections and has been commissioned by collectors, designers, and national media productions, including HGTV’s Property Brothers.
